BRIGHTON, N.Y. — A 27-year-old is accused of drunk driving after a crash on Sunday on West Henrietta Road near Monroe Community College’s Applied Technology Center.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. The Brighton Police chief said an off-duty officer saw the car driving recklessly before it crashed. According to the chief, the driver refused to comply with the off-duty officers’ orders.
Police say there were open containers in the car. In addition to being charged with DWI, the driver, Ryshig QR Scott-Thompson, was issued several traffic tickets.
