ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say a man was found dead in an apartment on Lewis Street Friday night.
Police say they responded to Lewis Street for a report of a man unresponsive at around 10:30 p.m. Friday.
When officers got there, they say they found a man, in his 20s, dead with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
Police say detectives are working to learn what led up to the shooting. They also say they believe the victim did not live in the apartment.
No suspects are in custody, and RPD’s Major Crimes Homicide Unit is investigating.
