Letters-Yes on prop. 50 ...Middle East

To the Editor:

A handful of multi-billionaires have bankrolled opposition to Prop. 50, with scary and inaccurate claims. I hope California voters are not going to fall for that.

The reason for Prop. 50 – the Election Rigging Response Act – is simple: Trump is trying to load Congress in his favor by unprecedented gerrymandering in Texas and other states. California, in a democratic process in a fair election, is trying to level the playing field.

If Prop. 50 passes, we can work and hope for a Congress that will hold the President accountable, protect the Constitution, and prevent further attempts to rig and suppress the votes.

Prop. 50 is a temporary measure to counteract unprecedented election-rigging.

It is up to us, California voters, to decide. Vote YES and be sure to submit your ballots ASAP.
