ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The large area of low pressure that has plagued us most of the week will slowly loosen its grip and move away, but not before a few more lake rain showers Friday night and Saturday morning. We will tend to see a little more sun by Saturday afternoon, but temperatures will remain cool, with highs in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. Sunday will be the winner of the weekend, with the sky becoming mostly sunny and fair weather. It’ll remain cool, with highs once again near 50. In fact, temperatures will stay within a few degrees of 50 right through the upcoming work week.
We’ll see dry weather with some sunshine Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Our next round of showers will arrive by Thursday, as a storm system develops along the coast. At this point, we’re still expecting some showers for Halloween, but with it still being almost a week out, expect some changes and tweaks to the Trick or Treating forecast.
