An Aurora Police Department sergeant charged with child sex exploitation who worked as a school resource officer may have additional victims from his 20 years “in a position of trust,” the Federal Bureau of Investigation said Wednesday.
Aaron Jacob “Jake” Bunch was arrested earlier this month and is charged with three felony counts of child sexual exploitation related to selling, publishing and possessing child sexual abuse material.

Bunch was a supervisor of school resource officers at the time of his arrest, according to Aurora police. He was put on unpaid administrative leave and the department launched its own internal investigation.

Bunch is set to appear in Denver District Court on Nov. 5 for a preliminary hearing, court records show.
