AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Officials responded to a fire that jumped the road just south of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, according to the Mustang Ridge Police Department.
The department said on social media around 1:30 p.m. that fire crews responded to the fire at U.S. 183 and FM 812. That's near Dee Gabriel Collins Road southeast of Austin.
As of 1:45 p.m., the fire was at 20 acres and "spreading pretty quickly," including jumping onto the road, according to police.
