The Ducks season got off to a strong start this week: a 4-3 win over the Penguins for Tuesday’s home opener and a bevy of new foods debuted for the upcoming season.
Honda Center executive chef Cesar Regalado and his team will introduce several new additions, including a deep dish pan pizza and an in-house smoked burger that’s made with “a little bit of short rib, top round and trimmings from brisket with fried onions,” he explained. “We also have a Mexican stand coming up with fresh-made tortillas.” The brisket burger can be found at Feather & Flame at stand 427 in December, while the pizza is at Anaheim Pizza at stand 210 (additional Anaheim Pizza locations will open at sections 203 and 418 in December).

Roman Zavala, senior food and beverage director, confirmed that significant construction work will finish in December — two parking garages opened to the public this week at Honda Center, part of the OCVibe expansion — which will bring back food stands, including brand-new concepts on the upper concourse that are “built for putting out a lot of good food,” he said. The goal, Zavala explained, is to “get people off the concourse because it’s really crowded up there.”
