Martin, 80, and Short, 75, took the stage at Encore Theater at the Wynn, using the final few moments of their Saturday, October 11, set to share a photo of Keaton on the screen behind them. Keaton’s other costars, including Because I Said So’s Lauren Graham and Mandy Moore, also paid their respects to the actress via social media. Graham, 58, posted part of a letter that Keaton had written to her before her death via Instagram on Monday, October 13.
“Please don’t be a stranger. Please invite me to one of your dinners. And finally …. Please hug yourself in the morning, and remember to write your book, and don’t let yourself get anxious, you big winner you. Love, Di,” the letter said in part, referencing a book Graham eventually wrote.
