Who said the preseason doesn’t matter!?
During the third quarter of the Chicago Bulls‘ third preseason matchup, some pushing and shoving broke out between the two Central Division rivals. Dalen Terry found himself with the ball at the top of the key and tried to go right at Taurean Prince. As he drove toward the rim, Prince swiped down hard at the ball and chose to foul Terry as he went up for the finish. Terry took exception to the contact, immediately grabbing Prince around the head.
The two remained tied up and exchanged words. Teammates were eventually able to separate the two, but the action was enough to lead to a full review from the refs.

— Joel Lorenzi (@JoelXLorenzi) October 13, 2025The officials eventually ejected Terry was ejected from the game, ruling that he threw an attempted punch. Prince was allowed to stay in the game and was handed a technical foul. Zach Collins and Bobby Portis were also administered a technical.
While the techs feel like standard procedure, the ejection for Terry came as a slight surprise. While you can see the swingman reach out toward Prince during the skirmish, it didn’t appear as if he was trying to clock the Bucks’ veteran. Alas, I guess it’s good to see that even the exhibition games mean this much to both teams! Both look eager to start the regular season!
