While the Bears get ready for the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football on the field this week, off the field, Caleb Williams has made a pretty big move.
Williams announced on Thursday that he officially became an investor for the NWSL’s new franchise in Boston, Boston Legacy FC. The commitment comes from Williams’ investment firm, 888 Midas, which he launched last year in an attempt to get involved in business opportunities outside of football.

While Caleb Williams is clearly dedicated to bringing wins to our beloved Bears, it’s nice to see younger athletes taking their life-changing money and being smart with it. Too many times, we’ve seen athletes burn through their money entirely too quickly or be taken advantage of by their inner circles. It’s great to see Caleb be so involved with building a portfolio and investing his money to ensure his future. It’s an indicator that he not only has a good head on his shoulders, but a good support system around him.
