SHOPPERS are keenly awaiting the release of a delicious new Easter treat, after a popular chocolate brand announced a limited edition collaboration.

Limited edition Cadbury eggs filled with Biscoff will hit supermarket shelves in time for Easter 2026.

Cadbury announced the collaboration via social media platform Facebook on Sunday, causing a stir.

Keen chocolate lovers and fans of the cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg flavoured biscuits couldn’t contain their excitement.

“But I want it now!” One person commented.

“Can’t wait,” said another.

“Now we’re talking,” said a third.

Others in the comments were so happy to see Easter centred products advertised so early.

One person quipped: “That is ridiculous, Easter merchandise, three months before Christmas!”

Another said “Easter is like half a f–king year away”.

“On sale next week then,” a third said.

The brands have an ongoing collaboration in the form of a dairy milk bar filled with Biscoff pieces.

Retailing for £2 on Cadbury’s website, the product is described as “the classic, creamy taste of Cadbury dairy milk … added with something truly special”.

“The chocolate you love with a biscuit twist you’ll adore,” the description continues.

“The irresistible caramelised sweetness and crunch of Biscoff.”

The egg is not yet available on the Cadbury website or in supermarkets, however keen sweet lovers beg for an early release.

The product announcement comes after Terry’s Chocolate Orange revealed a popular product from last Christmas would soon return to shelves.

Delighted fans of the product were happy to see the return of the popular chocolate-orange and marshmallow ball, spicing up the classic hot chocolate for the silly season.

How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…

Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.

Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.

Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.

Marketed as “the perfect comfort drink”, the brand announced the return of the product on their Facebook page.

“All you need to do is pour over some hot milk and watch the magic happen,” the post read.

“You’ll have delicious orange marshmallows appearing before your eyes before you know it”.

The cosy-weather treat is available for shoppers at Asda, Poundland, B&M stores and other major retailers in the UK.
