Bullock told the outlet that kidney failure was the cause of death, noting that Ike Jr.’s health had been declining due to heart issues and a recent stroke.

The Turner family has endured a series of devastating losses over the years. Tina Turner died in May 2023 at age 83 after a long illness. Ike Sr. passed away in December 2007 from a cocaine overdose at age 76. Ronnie died from colon cancer in 2022, and Craig died by suicide in 2018.
“As the son of Tina and Ike Turner, from an early age, his talents were evident — there wasn’t an instrument he didn’t want to play,” she said. “He started with drums, but after his mother made him break down his kit after every practice, he switched to keys.”
