Can Daniel Farke keep up his side’s unbeaten start at Elland Road? We look ahead to Saturday’s Premier League clash with our Leeds United vs Tottenham prediction and preview.
Leeds vs Tottenham: The Key Stats
Tottenham Hotspur secured all three points against Leeds United in 43.5% of pre-match simulations by the Opta supercomputer. Leeds have now gone a full year without losing a home league game at Elland Road. Spurs have won nine of their last 11 Premier League meetings with Leeds, including the last four in a row.Thomas Frank will need to do something no manager has done at Elland Road in a year if Tottenham are to return to winning ways against Leeds United.
Spurs make the trip north for the early kick-off on Saturday, having clawed back consecutive Premier League points against Brighton and Wolves. That is as many draws as they had managed in their previous 23 outings.
Tottenham have not ended three straight top-flight matches level since a run of four between October and November 2016, but this could prove a tough test in front of a boisterous Leeds support.
The home crowd have had plenty to shout about, given Leeds have now gone a full year without losing a league game at Elland Road. Their 23-game undefeated streak started on 28 September against Coventry City en route to winning the Championship title last season.
Leeds have drawn their last two at their home ground, however, against Newcastle United and Bournemouth. They have not had three consecutive draws at home in the league since September 2023, while in the Premier League, they last managed as many in a five-game run way back in 1997.
Bournemouth snatched a last-gasp 2-2 draw at Leeds last Saturday, thanks to Eli Junior Kroupi’s 93rd-minute leveller. Joe Rodon had earlier cancelled out in-form Antoine Semenyo’s opener, before Sean Longstaff edged Leeds ahead.
Longstaff has proved a vital all-round signing. No Premier League player has made more tackles than Longstaff’s 19 since his competition debut for Leeds at the end of August (level with Spurs’ João Palhinha).
Meanwhile, only three players have created more chances than his eight in the same period, with one of those setting up Rodon’s header from a corner against Bournemouth.
Indeed, only three Premier League teams can better Leeds’ four goals from set-pieces in 2025-26. However, only struggling West Ham (8) have shipped more from such situations at the other end of the pitch than the six Daniel Farke’s side have let in.
Farke will be keen to improve in that area if his team are to overturn their woeful record in early kick-offs. Leeds have not won any of their last 11 Premier League matches that have started earlier than 3pm (D2 L9), since a roaring 3-0 win over Chelsea in a 2pm kick-off in August 2022.
Spurs needed a late own goal to salvage a 2-2 draw at Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League on Tuesday, but have travelled well recently. They have picked up seven points in their three away league games this season (W2 D1), as many as in their previous 11 games on the road combined (W2 D1 L8).
Saturday could bring a landmark as well for Richarlison, who will be hoping to make his 250th appearance in the Premier League. Willian, Ederson, Fernandinho and Roberto Firmino are the only other Brazilians to have reached that tally.
Richarlison would be the 300th player to play 250 games, with West Ham’s Michail Antonio the last player to score on that milestone appearance, doing so back in April 2024. He may have competition for his place, though, with Randal Kolo Muani nearing a return from his dead leg.
Radu Dragusin, Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison remain out for Spurs, while Dominic Solanke recently underwent minor ankle surgery for an issue that has kept him out since the end of August.
Farke, in contrast, should only be without goalkeeper Lucas Perri. The Leeds boss hopes to welcome back Wilfried Gnonto after the Italian winger had been struggling with a calf problem.

Leeds vs Tottenham Head-to-Head
Tottenham have won both of their last two league visits to Elland Road and will be aiming to beat Leeds away from home three times running for the first time ever.
Leeds have shipped four goals in each of those home defeats against Spurs, losing 4-0 in Marcelo Bielsa’s last game in charge and 4-1 in their final game of 2022-23 that saw them relegated.
No side has ever scored four goals in three away league matches at Elland Road in a row, though Leeds’ abject record overall against Spurs may cause some concern.
They have lost nine of their last 11 Premier League meetings with Spurs (W1 D1), including each of their last four in a row – their longest ever league losing run to Saturday’s visitors.
Leeds vs Tottenham Prediction
The Opta supercomputer swayed in Tottenham’s favour, though it offered Leeds a 31.3% chance of victory across 10,000 pre-match simulations.
A third straight draw for Frank’s side in the league was rated at 25.2% in the data-led sims, while Spurs were backed as the favourites with victory in 43.5% of scenarios.
