“I think there are some unwritten rules about staying off social media during game week. Posting about an opponent’s personal life definitely crosses a line. It just shows a real lack of focus,” one user wrote, not knowing it was fake.
“Seems disrespectful,” another user added.
The tweet gained over five million views and thousands of comments, even though it was completely fabricated.
However, while the tweet was completely untrue, old footage of Dart has resurfaced online that might explain why many thought the diss was real.

Giants head coach Brian Daboll went immediately to Dart after their win against the Chargers to give the rookie a big hug before slapping him on the chest.

“Happy we got him,” Daboll, who replaced Russell Wilson with Dart as his QB1, said.
Dart, whom the Giants traded up to draft in April, finished the game with a touchdown, 113 yards and 13 completed passes from 20 attempts.
“Me and Dabs just have a special relationship. He’s the guy that believed in me from day one,” the rookie said about his head coach.
