CMPD conducting two separate overnight homicide investigations ...Middle East

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is conducting two separate homicide investigations.

Police said one scene is at the 5000 block of East Independence Blvd in east Charlotte, and the other scene is on the 8800 block of Hollow Creek Circle in the University City area.

Details on both incidents are limited. At this time, we know Medic transported one person from the scene on Independence with life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound.
