Jake Paul is assembling a group of nimble southpaws to help prime his speed and reflexes for his exhibition bout with Gervonta Davis.
The pair are set to square off on November 14 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, at a catchweight of 195lbs.
Paul, a natural cruiserweight (200lbs), will cut 5lbs to make the limit, while reigning WBA lightweight champion (135lbs) Davis is tasked with getting as close to the weight as he can.
Due to the considerable size disparity between the pair, Paul is recruiting the services of several smaller sparring partners to help emulate Davis.
“In terms of sparring we’ve got some great guys coming in,” said Paul.
“Some really experienced southpaws that are smaller.
“I think Montana Love is coming in, Shakur Stevenson wants to come in, Jamaine Ortiz we’re hitting up, Erickson Lubin, some of these guys.
“We’re going to bring in a plethora of fighters that are fast, quick, shifty southpaws.”
