The first Chicago Bears injury report of Week 4 is out.
Unfortunately, it featured a handful of players who were unavailable for practice.
Chicago Bears Injury Report — September 24, 2025
PLAYERS WHO DID NOT PRACTICE: Linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring), cornerback Kyler Gordon (hamstring), defensive tackle Grady Jarrett (knee), tight end Colston Loveland (hip), right tackle Darnell Wright (elbow)
T.J. Edwards and Kyler Gordon begin yet another week with DNPs next to their names on the first Bears injury report of the week. Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett is back on the injury report with a knee issue of his own, which I hope is a roundabout way of giving the veteran some time to rest and recuperate. Rookie tight end Colsotn Loveland didn’t practice with a hip issue, but there is hope he will still suit up on Sunday. As for right tackle Darnell Wright, his elbow injury on Sunday caused him to miss 11 snaps. And while he did return to the game, we’ll monitor his status to see if he will be available for Week 4.

Of the three players who were limited on Wednesday’s Bears injury report, one player (cornerback Jaylon Jones) saw an upgrade regarding his status. Jones hadn’t been practicing, so to see him get a limited participation designation on Wednesday feels encouraging. However, I cannot say the same about the two other players who were limited in the first practice of the week. A groin issue kept tight end Cole Kmet from being a full go on Wednesday. I don’t love that both of the top tight ends appear on the Wednesday Bears injury report.
As for running back D’Andre Swift, he remains on the injury report — but with a new injury. Swift’s hip kept him from being a full participant. This comes one week after being limited in practice with a quad injury ahead of the Week 3 game against the Cowboys.
And to end this post on a high note, linebacker D’Marco Jackson (hamstring) was a full participant. Hopefully, we will get more good news tomorrow.
