A WOMAN has been sexually assaulted on a canal path by a man riding a bike.
The victim was attacked while walking near Water Lane, in Exeter, on Friday at around 11.30pm.
A man wearing dark clothes and riding a push bike launched his assault while the woman headed towards Double Locks.
Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Investigating officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have relevant footage.
“Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw a male acting suspiciously in the area of Quay Haven Road, Water Lane, the canal path or Marsh Barton around the time of the incident.
“Anybody with information is asked to contact us on 101 or via our website quoting 50250244304.”
