Ravichandran Ashwin will make his first cricket appearance at the Hong Kong Super Sixes following his retirement from the IPL. Cricket Hong Kong confirmed on Wednesday that Ravichandran Ashwin will participate in the Hong Kong Super Sixes. The tournament will be played from 7th to 9th November 2025. Each team plays an innings of 5 overs each and the tournament is known for its fast-paced, action-packed.
“We have all watched the HK Sixes as youngsters on Television and it has always been an existing format that I wanted to be a part of. This format requires a different strategy and will prove to be high octane which I am looking forward to play alongside my ex-teammates. I am also thrilled to compete against some quality players in the opposition teams, it will be a good challenge for us,” Ravichandran Ashwin said of his participation.

Ashwin’s teammates for the tournament is yet to be revealed. In 2024/25, Robin Uthappa led Team India with Manoj Tiwary, Kedar Jadhav and Shreevats Goswami in the squad.
