The players from Karnataka and Punjab had appeared in ads for 1xBet. Apart from that, earlier, Shikhar Dhawan was summoned as well by the ED, along with Suresh Raina, for endorsing such companies. In fact, Dhawan was questioned for eight hours, as per various reports.

The deal will run until 2027, covering nearly 121 bilateral fixtures and 21 ICC matches in the period. The total valuation of the deal is Rs 579 Crore, around 200 Cr more than what Dream11 offered.
