Glenn Beckwith, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully,surrounded by the family he loved so deeply.
Glenn lived a life full of laughter, generosity, and heart. He was a gardener, a woodworker, aworld traveler, and a man who never passed up a good joke–or a plate of cookies and peanutbutter crackers. He built things with his hands and nurtured them with his heart, from backyardvegetables to lifelong friendships.
One of his proudest creations was the family dining table he built with his son – a centerpiecefor countless holidays, meals, and memories. He had a deep love for nature, flowers, andmaking others feel seen and cared for.
Glenn led with quiet compassion and unwavering kindness. He always looked out for those inneed and believed in giving more than he took.
He is survived by his wife Judy Beckwith,his three children Vicki McMahan, Stacey (John)Tucker, and Glenn Jr. (Heather), four grandchildren Andrew, Allison, Graham, and Emma.He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Funeral services for Mr. Glenn Allison Beckwith are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday September 13, 2025 at 1 PM from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes. Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Beckwith’s family will receive friends on Friday September 12, 2025 from 3 PM to 7 PM and on Saturday September 13, 2025 from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM.
Memorial donations in memory of Mr. Beckwith may be made to the Brush Creek Cemetery, C/O sue Collins, 18 Switchboard Rd, Brush Creek, TN 38547.
