Jimmy “Sandman” Dillard, age 66 of Lebanon TN, passed away on September 11, 2025. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 5 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2025 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home. Family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3 p.m. until the service at 5 p.m.
Jimmy Wayne Dillard was born in Carthage TN to Clara Mae Bennett Dillard and James Dillard. Jimmy was a generous man who always had a smile on his face. He was a hard worker who loved his machine operator construction job. He was always cutting up and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Jimmy enjoyed being with the grandkids and also attending their sporting events. He was a fan of UT and Pittsburgh Steelers football.
Jimmy is survived by his daughters Nicole (Brian) Tienter and Danielle (Trey Talbott) Burton, grandchildren Hannah Tienter, Jackson Tienter, Ian Burton, and Grayson Burton, brother Ed Ratliff, and many brothers at Vulcan. He is preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Evelene Dillard, and parents Clara Wagner and James Dillard.
