Damascus -SANA – The Syrian Ministry of Culture, through the Child Culture Directorate, has announced the launch of its 2025 creative competitions dedicated to children with disabilities. The competitions span four categories: Arabic calligraphy, photography, drawing, and storytelling. The deadline for submissions is October 1.
The competition themes are inspired by children’s everyday lives, and entries are divided into age groups ranging from 5 to 17 years. All works must be created exclusively by the child, accompanied by official documentation.
The Ministry has allocated top prizes of up to 5 million Syrian pounds for first place, in addition to encouragement awards and cultural publications, aiming to nurture young talents and promote inclusive cultural engagement.
