(KRON) -- As the tech layoffs keep rolling in, Oracle announced plans to cut hundreds of jobs across its Bay Area footprint. The tech giant, which was formerly maintained its headquarters in the Bay Area, will be cutting 254 jobs locally, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) filed with the Employment Development Department.
Of the jobs cut locally, 36 will be at Oracle's Pleasanton office on Owens Drive and 31 will be at its Leonard Stocking Drive facility in Santa Clara. The majority of the job cuts -- 187 -- would be at its former headquarters at 500 Oracle Parkway in Redwood City.

The Oracle job cuts are set to take effect on Nov. 3.
