Iga Swiatek and a reporter were involved in a tense press conference discussion after her US Open quarter-final defeat.
Amanda Anisimova won 6-4 6-3 to reach the last four, weeks after a double bogey defeat to the world no. 2 in the Wimbledon final.

Then once she sealed her quarter-final spot, Swiatek sent a text on her phone during an on-court post-match interview.
When asked who she was messaging, she smiled and revealed it was her coach in her bid to book a practice session.

The American revelled in her latest victory, especially after such a crushing defeat against Swiatek the last time they played.
“Playing here is so freakin’ special… this has been such a dream,” she said.
“To come back from Wimbledon like that is really special for me. I feel I worked so hard to turn around from that.
“Today means everything to me. I can do it, this is so special.
“It was such a fun match, I know it wasn’t three sets but it was such a battle for me.”
