Damascus, SANA – President Ahmad al-Sharaa received on Tuesday Haitham al-Masri, founder and CEO of Hematogenix, a company specializing in cancer research worldwide, and his accompanying delegation at the People’s Palace in Damascus.

Health issues in Syria, particularly the status of cancer, were discussed during the meeting. Potential cooperation in developing the health sector and supporting cancer patients in Syria was also addressed.

The meeting was attended by Health Minister Musab al-Ali and his deputy.
