Arizona State football stars Sam Leavitt and Jordyn Tyson continue to see their on-field performance pay off with off-the-field projects.
The two were named Adidas partners on Thursday, joining Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola as collegiate players with Adidas NIL deals. It puts them in lockstep with ASU, which is an Adidas-sponsored school.
Leavitt and Tyson will support the apparel brand “with various other marketing initiatives” in addition to wearing its products on and off the field as part of the partnership involving the team, according to a release.
The deal has some parallels to Adidas’ first NIL deal, which signed then-Washington quarterback-receiver duo Michael Penix Jr. and Rome Odunze. The Huskies reached the national title game that season.

The duo is also partnering with Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers in a venture that includes 10% of proceeds going to Phoenix Children’s whenever their signature menu items are ordered. Leavitt’s QB10 Wrap that debuted last season is back, and Tyson’s item is a Touchdown Sandwich.

The QB10 Wrap offers the choice of Nashville hot chicken or grilled chicken paired with romaine lettuce, fresh tomato, ranch, shredded cheese and buffalo sauce in a soft tortilla. The Touchdown Sandwich has lettuce, tomato and chicken tenders tossed in sweet chili sauce along with honey mustard on a bun.
The items will be available at all Valley locations, including at Mountain America Stadium. They will also be sold at the Texas location in Euless about 10 miles north of the Big 12 title game site in Arlington.
“I am super excited to partner with Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers again this year,” Leavitt said in the announcement. “The fans will be able to enjoy the QB10 Wrap all season long. I am thankful to work with a company that is a part of the ASU community and is invested in giving back.”
Last year’s campaign — which also included Cam Skattebo’s Skatteburger — brought in $13,000 for Phoenix Children’s. A minimum of $5,000 was pledged for this year’s initiative.
Other recent NIL ventures
In addition, Leavitt was announced as a Powerade partner on Tuesday in a campaign that also includes LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier. Like his deal with Adidas, it marks Leavitt as a signature athlete partnering with one of the team’s partners.
The quarterback ranked fifth among all male college athletes regardless of sport in NIL Store sales for the month of July, and he won’t see any of that money as he’s pledged to redirect all of those funds back to his teammates. He did the same thing with his 2024 merchandise sales.
He carries an NIL valuation of $3.1 million, which ranks ninth in the country, per On3.
