Dream11 executives recently met BCCI CEO Hemang Amin in Mumbai to end their partnership as India’s jersey sponsor. The board will now have to secure a replacement ahead of the Asia Cup. It is unlikely that Team India will take the field without a sponsor during the tournament.
"BCCI and Dream 11 are discontinuing their relationship after the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025, was passed. BCCI will ensure not to indulge with any such organisations ahead in future," BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia told ANI.
