ONTARIO COUNTY, N.Y. — There were still 473 RG&E customers without power shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday, mostly in the town of Canandaigua, Hopewell and Manchester.
The Town of Canandaigua posted that multiple poles and wires were down in the roadway on Thomas Road due to the storm that passed through Sunday afternoon. Thomas Road between Route 332 and Brickyard Road will be closed for several hours, according to the town.
Earlier in the day, there had been several hundred outages in the East Bloomfield area as well.
In Wayne County, 100 customers in Savannah were without power as of 6 p.m., with power estimated to return between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
