Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President and Leader of Opposition in the Odisha Assembly, Naveen Patnaik, was discharged from a hospital here on Wednesday evening after recovering from dehydration.
Following his discharge, the BJD supremo expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Odisha for their wishes and prayers during his treatment.
“Thank you to all Odisha brothers and sisters, who prayed for me while I was ill. I also want to thank all the people for their blessings and the hospital for the great care they took of me. I’m very well,” Naveen said.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several other prominent leaders had wished him a speedy recovery.
Naveen, who was admitted to the hospital on Sunday, has now returned home after making a complete recovery.
