POLICE are hunting a man after a woman was sexually assaulted in a nightclub.
During the early hours of Saturday, July 19, a man tried to dance with a woman at the Park Lane bar in Torquay, Devon, police said.
He then approached the woman again a short time later – while she was sat away from the club – and sexually assaulted her.
Devon and Cornwall Police has now released the CCTV image of man it wishes to speak to as part of its enquiries.
Officers believe he may be able to help with their investigation.
The force said in a statement: “We are appealing for the public’s assistance identifying this man following a sexual assault in Torquay.
“A male suspect approached a woman in a nightclub in the early hours of Saturday 19 July and attempted to dance with her.
“A short while later he again approached her, this time away from the venue while she was sat outside of Park Lane and sexually assaulted her.
“It is believed the man pictured may be able to help with enquiries.
“Anybody with information is asked to call 101 or visit our website quoting 50250186094.”
