A shooting in suburban Aurora that prompted authorities to ask residents to remain in their homes left two people hurt and a suspect at-large.

According to Aurora police, the shooting occurred in the 500 block of Station Boulevard just after 6 a.m. Sunday.

Upon arrival, officers found two victims who had been shot near a basketball court in the neighborhood.

A 20-year-old man was listed in critical condition after the shooting, while a 19-year-old suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police believe it was a shooting involving acquaintances, and that there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public at this time. Authorities had asked residents to remain in their homes after the shooting, but lifted that request after it was determined the suspect had fled the area.

That suspect was identified as 24-year-old Aurora resident Aaron Conley. He is described as having black hair with short dreadlocks, and brown eyes. He stands 6-feet-1 inch and weighs approximately 185 pounds.

He was last seen wearing all black clothing.
