Brandi Glanville is hoping an upcoming operation will finally help get to the bottom of her ongoing health issues.
On a new episode of her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast shared Thursday, October 22, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told cohost James Maas that a doctor plans to perform exploratory surgery on her face Friday.
“Dr. Carlo Honrado is taking my face off on Friday and going to do an exploratory surgery to kind of do a power wash under my skin,” Glanville said. She explained that the doctor identified two spots he wants to examine to determine whether they are “fungal balls or something alive.” Glanville added, “I think it’s alive personally because it moves when it wants to.”

Glanville said the procedure will involve lifting back the skin to examine the spots, cleaning beneath it, and using a platelet treatment made from her own blood. She acknowledged feeling frightened because she has never had facial surgery, but said she was also excited and hopeful. She added that the surgeon agreed to accept what insurance would cover, plus $5,000.
