Celebration of Life scheduled for Mike Dodd ...Middle East

A Celebration of Life for longtime Orange County high school baseball and football coach Mike Dodd will be held Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. at First Christian Church of Huntington Beach.

The church address is 1207 Main Street in Huntington Beach.

The Dodd family adds, “Please plan to stay for a reception immediately following the service where we’ll have open Mic for everyone to tell some stories.”

Dodd died on June 17. He was 72.

Dodd was Huntington Beach’s baseball coach from 1982-2000 and was the school’s football coach for one season, 1996, on an interim basis. He was Marina’s football coach from 2001-06.
