(KRON) — A 19-year-old man was shot to death in Fairfield around 8:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
According to police, the victim was sitting in a car in a business parking lot on the 1300 block of West Texas Street when someone approached the car and opened fire. Multiple shots were fired, striking the victim.
“Officers responded to the scene and provided lifesaving measures before the victim was transported to a local hospital,” the Fairfield Police Department said. “Unfortunately, he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.”
