Greeley residents will have multiple opportunities to meet and ask questions of their city council members at special events at least through next month.

From 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, Councilman Johnny Olson and city staff will continue the city’s Council in the Community meeting series at Generations Church, 3600 W. 22nd St.

From 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, Mayor Pro Tem Dale Hall will host a meeting at the Greeley Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Ave.

Meetings with Councilwoman Deb DeBoutez and Councilman Tommy Butler will follow but have yet to be scheduled.

Both Hall and Olson are running for office this November, with Olson running for reelection in Ward 3 against Valerie Leal-Whitehead and Hall running for mayor against Tiffany Simmons.

Spanish interpretation and light refreshments are available at each event. If residents need interpretation in another language, call 970-301-0135 at least two weeks in advance to make arrangements.
