KREMMLING, Colo. (KDVR) — A mountain town is mourning a devastating loss.
Five members of a Kremmling family, including three young children, were killed in a fiery crash on Highway 9. Investigators say both vehicles were engulfed in flames and now loved ones are speaking out through their heartbreak.

The Grand County coroner says both vehicles caught fire. By the time first responders arrived, it was too late to save the five people trapped inside one of the cars.
The family members were publicly identified on Wednesday.

“My heart sank at that point," said Javier Torres-Garcia, Manuel's cousin. “It feels like a very, very bad dream.”
“I was really happy to hear when he would come visit us. He was the kind of guy who always tried to get family together no matter what," said Javier. "Even if it was a day or two, he would always make time for family. Manny was a great dude, and he’s going to be missed by a lot of people. His kids were very young."
There's no video of the crash. Colorado State Patrol, which is investigating the collision, said that while the case is still active and ongoing, they have no images to release at this time.

Just one person alone is tough on a lot of people but five, it’s just so hard," said Javier. “Losing all five of them, all at the same time. His youngest was two and his oldest was 12. They had their whole life ahead of them. It’s so sad to think about."
A fundraiser is now underway to help the surviving family members navigate the days ahead. So far, more than $29,000 has been raised.
The family says they are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from the community.
"I'm shocked," said Javier. "I'm so grateful, how kind random people are. It’s amazing; I appreciate it so much."
The family is now asking for continued prayers as they prepare to bury five loved ones.
