I could make an argument that the Cubs would benefit from an additional outfielder on their bench if they could coordinate it with the eventual return of Miguel Amaya, the departure of Vidal Brujan, and whatever else they do with the infield group. It’d be a thin argument, though, given the presence of Seiya Suzuki at DH, and of Owen Caissie and Kevin Alcantara at Triple-A on the 40-man roster.
