AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department said its dive team recovered a body at 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
This follows the Austin Fire Department sending crews Saturday to assist in a water rescue on Lake Austin near the 360 Bridge.
AFD said on social media it responded shortly after 6 p.m. to the Plaza on the Lake boat ramp by Pennybacker bridge for a report of two swimmers "in distress with one submerging."

APD said it does not have victim info and that the death does not appear to be suspicious.
"It's super tragic, because everyone's coming out here to have a great day," said Collin Dodd, who works for Float On Boat Rentals.
Dodd said he was on the water when a swimmer went missing Saturday, and that a storm blew over the lake around that time.
He stressed the importance of being aware of currents, avoiding alcohol, knowing where people are swimming, and always wearing a life jacket.
"Just swim with life jackets," Dodd said. "You don't need to not wear one because you think your friends will make funny or anything like. It's a lot better."
