AMERICAN Idol executive Robin Kaye and her husband were shot to death with their own gun by an intruder who then reported himself to the police, prosecutors said.
Investigators have spilled new details on the deaths of Kaye and her songwriter husband Thomas Deluca, both 70, after they were found dead in their Los Angeles, California, mansion on July 14.

Surveillance captured him scaling the wall surrounding their house and opening a sliding glass door that was left unlocked, cops said.
Around 30 minutes after he allegedly broke into the house, the couple walked in and accidentally confronted the intruder.
On Monday evening, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman revealed that they were murdered with their own weapon.
Hochman also said that Boodarian allegedly called 911 after the shooting, reported the crime, and gave the operator his name.
