"I had researchers go into the Warner Bros. film vaults buried in underground salt mines and, to the astonishment of all, we uncovered 68 boxes of film negative, as well as unseen 8mm footage," he revealed.
EPiC features never-before-seen footage showcasing some of Presley’s most iconic live performances. The film allows Elvis to tell his own story, and offers an intimate look into his life and legacy.
Commercial Appeal reports the film grossed close to $290 million worldwide. The film earned eight Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Butler.
