ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Blu Wolf Bistro on Park Avenue hosted a pet rescue event featuring adoptable dogs in support of Operation Freedom Ride. This Rochester-based nonprofit aims to save dogs and cats from euthanization.
“We don’t have a shelter location, so we rely on local partners like Blu Wolf Bistro to host us to have meeting and greet events, and also fundraising and donation support as well,” said Kristin Traywick from Operation Freedom Ride. “We are all volunteers and also 100% foster home-based, which means that all of our dogs are in homes rather than having a shelter location.”
Operation Freedom Ride is also looking for foster families to help care for their cats and dogs.
