MARION, N.Y. — A driver is facing at least ten charges and another person is facing two charges after a crash in Marion that seriously injured a motorcyclist.
The driver, 35-year-old Chad Dier, is accused of driving drunk and leaving the scene of the crash. He’s also charged with vehicular assault, tampering with evidence, conspiracy, providing a false written statement, aggravated unlicensed operation, and traffic violations.
Anna Parker, 38, is charged with conspiracy and providing a false statement in the crash. She was released on an appearance ticket and Dier was taken to the Wayne County Jail.
The crash happened on Walworth Marion Road back on June 23. Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says the motorcyclist had injuries to her arm, leg, spine, and ankle.
