The Real Housewives of New York alum, 68, shooed the actress, 34, away at an event after mistaking her for a fan who wanted a photo.
"So guess who I ran into!" Singer said in a video posted on her now expired Instagram Story, before pulling Roberts into frame for the big reveal. "She wanted to say 'hi' to me. I said, 'Not now!'"
Roberts added she was a "big fan" of Singer and joked about the misunderstanding.
The reality star then brought her daughter, Avery Singer, into the frame, explaining how she helped her mom "fix" the situation once she realized the "fan" she sent away was actually Roberts.
Avery eventually went up to Roberts herself and apologized for the mishap.
Despite what happened, everything seems to be perfectly fine between the three ladies. The video ended with all of them smiling as Singer leaned in to give Roberts a kiss on the cheek.
"Now we're BFFs — all of us!" Roberts said.
