Colorado State football has a new radio home for games this fall.
CSU announced Monday that Bonneville Denver Media Group, CSU, and LEARFIELD’s Rams Sports Properties have named KKFN 104.3 The Fan the new home of Rams football games for the 2025 season. CSU football games had previously aired on 99.1 FM.
This agreement with Denver’s largest sports radio broadcast station marks a significant enhancement for the Rams Radio Network, expanding its reach and providing a robust platform for CSU’s athletic coverage through the Denver metro area and along the Front Range, according to a news release sent out by the athletics department.
“Securing a partnership with KKFN 104.3 The Fan, Denver’s largest sports radio station, ensures that every football game reaches fans and alumni in the Denver metro area and across Colorado, delivering unmatched coverage and fan engagement as we continue to drive CSU Athletics to new heights,” CSU director of athletics John Weber said in the release.
104.3 The Fan will broadcast all CSU football games in addition to pre-game shows and post-game analysis. Fans can listen to the action on 104.3 FM or tune in online with a mobile device on the Varsity Network app.
“We’re thrilled to bring Colorado State football broadcasts to Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan — one of the most recognized sports platforms in the region,” Amanda Brown, Program Director of Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan, said in the release. “This partnership gives Ram fans across Colorado even greater access to game-day action.”
The CSU Sports Network features 16 radio affiliates for fans to follow the Rams live action around the state. Rams Sports Properties is the locally based LEARFIELD team which manages all broadcast operations and the corporate partner platform for CSU athletics as part of the overall multimedia rights relationship.
The voices of CSU football will remain the same as Brian Roth will continue as “Voice of the Rams” alongside former Ram linebacker Ricky Brewer in the booth while Marty Cesario and Kevin McGlue will provide sideline reporting.
Roth will also produce the weekly Colorado State Insider podcast during the athletic season. The podcast can be found on the CSU Rams podcasts homepage or on The Varsity Network online or via The Varsity Network app, where all live Rams game broadcasts can also be streamed.
