In her Instagram Stories, Thurston noted before her scans were done that "As long as my scans are good, I can continue this treatment plan. As a stage 4 girly, I'll be on a treatment plan for life so it's a win when something is working."
"So many of you have prayed for me and I can feel it. Thank you for your ongoing selfless love and support of a complete stranger you once saw on some silly reality show," Thurston wrote in another Instagram Story.
