Next week sees a big warm up for inland areas, Monday July 7th, forecast ...Middle East

News by : (News channel) -

Beautiful seasonal weather continues to grace the region on this Fourth of July weekend. Most beaches saw at least some sunshine by the late morning and temperatures warming in to the the 60's and 70's. Inland areas also enjoyed very mild weather with highs in the 80's to very low 90's. Look for light winds and more fog for the overnight hours with lows dipping in to the 50's for most areas.

Looking ahead, Monday will likely see one last push of a strong onshore flow which means fog for the morning hours which could push inland to about the coastal valleys. The things get interesting as high pressure begins to build over the Southwest. Temperatures on Tuesday will start to climb well above normal with inland areas warming well in to the 90's and even low 100's. Further warming is expected for Wednesday which should be the peak day for this heat wave. Slow cooling is expected as we head toward next weekend, but inland areas will stay very warm and heat advisories or warnings could last through the weekend. Coastal areas will be very popular as the on shore flow should hold for the immediate coastline with a very shallow thermal inversion layer allowing for some cool ocean air to sneak in. Keep a close eye on the forecast through next week as more details and update to the forecast with be forthcoming. Stay cool next week and don't worry, our Pacific Ocean air conditioner should kick back in to gear soon enough.
