Many fans booed Draiman as he appeared with an all-star cast of musicians to honor Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, who put on their final performances.
Draiman, who is Jewish and a staunch supporter of Israel, shared a screen shot of a post he wrote on X with his followers on Instagram.
The Disturbed frontman performed the Ozzy Osbourne song “Shot in the Dark” and Black Sabbath’s “Sweet Leaf” with an all-star supergroup that included Faith No More’s Mike Bordin, former Megadeth bassist David Elefson, guitarist Jake E. Lee from Osbourne’s solo band, Osbourne keyboardist Adam Wakeman, Extreme’s Nino Bettencourt and Scott Ian of Anthrax.
Fans had a mixed reaction to Draiman’s post and the harsh reception he received from some at the concert.
“So happy you got booed ❤️,” another person wrote.
“So sorry for the boos! You deserve a standing ovation!! ❤️,” one wrote.
Still others turned on those who were attacking Draiman.
