First Alert Weather: Heating things up this weekend ...Middle East

News by : (News10NBC) -

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Our Fourth of July weather was picture perfect for the entire Rochester region. Comfortable temperatures in the 60s overnight will climb quickly on Saturday. A warm front lifting through on Saturday will bring sunshine mixed with a few clouds. Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s by the afternoon, along with a slight increase in humidity. Dew points will rise through the 60s, so it’ll be a little more humid, but still not too uncomfortable. The heat remains on Sunday. In fact, it’ll be the hotter day of the weekend with highs into the lower 90s.

As far as rain is concerned, there is the slight chance of a brief shower on Saturday as that warm front moves in, but the majority (if not all of the day) should be dry. We will be solidly in the warm sector on Sunday, so rain chances will be nearly zero. It’ll be a great weekend to get out on the lakes or in the pool!

Rain and storm chances will be going up on Monday, with the arrival of our next cold front. It’ll be a humid day on Monday, but that humidity will slowly begin to drop back through the day on Tuesday, with comfortable weather returning by the middle of next week.
