Don’t cry because the Greeley Stampede is coming to a close this weekend. Be happy it happened.

Even better, carry the excitement from the Stampede through the slate of summer events northern Colorado has to offer through next week.

Saturday

The Heritage of Mexico Rodeo starts at 1 p.m. at the Greeley Stampede. The rodeo features Mexican-style bull riding, bareback riding, trick roping, Mariachi music, side-saddle girls and Portuguese-style bullfights. Jerry Diaz, a fourth-generation champion charro, choreographed specialty acts, too. To purchase tickets to all Stampede events, go to greeleystampede.org.

Sunday

The final day of the 2025 Greeley Stampede features the Mustang Car Show at 3 p.m., the Demolition Derby at 4 p.m. and Conjunto Relincho performing at 6:30 p.m. on the Civitas Park Stage.

Monday

Bad Art Night is from 2-3 p.m. at the Centennial Library, 2227 23rd Ave., Greeley. This event for middle school students allows artists to break all the rules of art while having fun. Registration is required and can be done at tinyurl.com/2s3bd7bu.

Tuesday

The Weld Food Bank and the University of Northern Colorado Bear Pantry present Farms to Families from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Parking Lot C on the UNC Campus, 22nd Street and 10th Avenue. This event offers fresh produce, meats and other food items for current UNC students, staff and faculty.

The first show for UNC’s Concert Under the Stars series starts at 8 p.m. at the UNC Garden Theatre located at 10th Avenue and Cranford Place. High Lonesome takes the stage at this free event, which will continue July 15 and July 22. To see the full lineup, go to arts.unco.edu/concerts-under-stars.

Wednesday

After Hours Greeley hosts Disney movie trivia starting at 7 p.m. at the cocktail bar,  4111 Centerplace Drive, Suite D.

Thursday

Ben Roy, a stand-up comedian, takes the stage at 8 p.m. at Stella’s Pinball Arcade and Lounge, 802 9th St., Greeley. Roy has been performing since 2004. Since then, he has appeared on HBO’s “Funny as Hell” series, Comedy Central shows and “Adam DeVine’s House Party.” Tickets start at $20. To purchase tickets, go to tixr.com/groups/bandwagon.

Friday, July 11

Gannon Fremin and CCREV, with special guests Estin and the 86’d, take the stage at 8 p.m. at the Moxi Theater, 802 9th St., Greeley. Hailing from southwest Oklahoma, Gannon Fremin and CCREV are a rock band. Tickets start at $23. To purchase tickets, go to moxitheater.com.
